You might know of Uncharted Books as the sedated bookstore near the intersection of Kedzie and Milwaukee. However, you may not know that every first Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. the store hosts a comedy show, “Congrats on Your Success,” welcomed to all and any for a night of laughter and enjoyment.

With a recent two-year anniversary under its belt, Sip of Hope Coffee Bar (3039 W. Fullerton Ave.) continues to support suicide prevention and mental health education, all while surviving the economic downturn of COVID-19.

Two Logan Square residents refused to let COVID-19 postpone their wedding day indefinitely and recently put together a memorable ceremony — all on the sunny rooftop of their building. The unique event could only have been born out of the chaos the virus brought to their previous plans.

A Feb. 22 rally for Illinois Congressional candidate for the 4th district Jesús Chuy Garcia featured special guest speaker Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont. Illinois governor candidate Christopher G. Kennedy also made an appearance at Marshall Square’s Apollos 2000, 2875 W. Cermak Rd.
