Star Farm Chicago is a non-profit urban farm and landscaping service established in 2016 in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. 

They work to increase access of local organic produce through farmers markets, pop-ups, delivery, and our local foods co-op

This portrait project was a part of a larger catalogue documenting what programs Star Farm provides. These portraits were taken of members of Star Farm's Disability Farmers program. In this program, participants learn how to use tools, care for fruit trees, harvest and pack fresh produce, participants engage with the community and other growers.
